Shining in a dark place

This was shot in the basement of a building in an abandoned developmental complex. The complex was built as a self-sustaining village for epileptic patients.

Originally, the complex had been comprised of over 100 buildings, including a hospital, psychiatric ward, schoolhouse, and a morgue (among other things). Only a few buildings are left standing.

It was pitch-black in the basement, so I had a friend fire his flash from the hallway to capture this shot.
